LP PELLETIER TO PLAY FOURTH SEASON WITH AIGLES

TROIS-RIVIÈRES, QC - Trois-Rivieres Aigles Manager Jonathan Albaladejo has the wind in his sails for the 2025 season! He has reached an agreement with one of the crowd's favorites, outfielder Louis-Philippe Pelletier, who will play a 4th season with the Trois-Rivières Aigles!

Originally from Montreal, the 28-year-old Quebecer first came to the city of Laviolette in the summer of 2021 when he donned the Team Quebec uniform. Since 2022, the former prospect of the San Diego Padres (38th round pick in 2014) and the Houston Astros (20th round pick in 2016) has proudly defended the Eagles' colors at Quillorama Stadium.

In three seasons with the Oiseaux, Pelletier played a total of 236 games and maintained an excellent batting average of .318. A spark plug for the Trois-Rivières offense, he scored 202 runs in addition to producing 130, while also generating 297 hits, including 70 doubles and 32 home runs. His speed also allowed him to add 65 stolen bases.

For new manager Albaladejo, Pelletier's return was essential for the upcoming campaign to solidify the foundation of the new roster. "LP is well established in the community, he's a crowd favorite, and he provides excellent attacking power to our team. It's a privilege for the Eagles to have a player of his caliber."

Louis-Philippe Pelletier's signing joins those of pitchers Nathan Landry, Mike Hansell, Harry Rutkowski, Adam Wibert and Jacob Peaden, outfielders Justin Farmer, Juan Carlos Negret and Mathieu Vallée, infielders James Smibert, Luis Curbelo, Edward Sanchez, Omar Meregildo and Brandon Hylton and catcher Chris Burgess.

The Trois-Rivières Eagles will kick off their 12th season —and their 4th in the Frontier League—on May 8th with a visit to the Sussex County Miners. They will then face the Evansville Otters and the Gateway Grizzlies on the road before opening their home game on May 20th at Quillorama Stadium against the Sussex County Miners.
