Florence Y’alls to Play Baseball in 2020

FLORENCE, KY – With the approval of Governor Beshear, the Florence Y’alls, presented by Towne Properties, will be playing baseball in 2020. Fans can expect to see baseball being played at UC Health Stadium within the next 3-4 weeks.

“We are working hard to come up with a great plan to play baseball.” Stated President/Owner, “More information regarding what it will look like is coming soon!”

On Monday, June 22nd, the Governor announced that outdoor venues, such as ballparks may open at a 50% capacity. The Florence Y’alls want to thank the Governor for believing in the ability to safely entertain fans.

“We cannot wait to have fans back in the stadium for baseball.” Hannah Siefert, Director of Fan Communications, “This is what we prepare all off-season for.”

The Frontier League announced this morning that their will not be a 2020 championship season due to the ongoing restrictions in many of their locations. All teams have been given an option to pursue baseball and other activities. The Florence Y’all, along with the other teams that plan to play baseball this year support the fellow Frontier League teams that are unable to play baseball.
