JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Slammers have re-signed infielder Riley Krane. During the 2019 Riley had a 1.00 fielding percentage at 1st base, .881% at 3rd base and .991% in right field. He also held a .280 batting average and .399 slugging percentage with 22 walks and 6 stolen bases. Riley is excited to see new and returning fans during the 2020 season. We look forward to having him on the team again!
The Joliet Slammers have also re-signed right-handed pitcher Ryan Koziol. During the 2019 season Ryan only gave up 5 walks in 44 innings and had more strikeouts than innings pitched. He also had a low era of 1.21 and led the league in saves with 23. As a past member of the team, Ryan is also happy to claim the title of best video game player on the team. Prior to joining the Slammers, Ryan played for the San Francisco Giants minor league team from 2015-2018.
